DSRPT is developed and operated by Wapiti Analysis and Consulting Inc. ("Wapiti," "we," "us," or "our").
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the DSRPT mobile application, smartwatch application, website, and related services.
We believe an alarm app should not need to know more about you than necessary to do its job.
Information DSRPT may access
Depending on the device and version of DSRPT you use, the app may access information necessary to provide its alarm and movement-based functionality.

Activity and step information
DSRPT may access step counts or other device activity information required to determine whether you have completed a DSRPT step challenge. This information is used to provide DSRPT's core functionality.
Device information
DSRPT may process basic technical information about your phone or smartwatch, such as device type, operating system, application version, and compatibility information. This information may be used to operate the app, troubleshoot problems, maintain compatibility, and improve reliability.
Alarm and app settings
Information such as your selected alarm time, step target, notification settings, vibration settings, and other DSRPT preferences may be stored so the app can function as configured. Some settings or functionality described above may only be available in certain versions of DSRPT.
Notifications, alarms and device permissions
DSRPT may request device permissions required to provide alarms, notifications, vibration, activity tracking, background operation, or communication between supported devices.
These permissions are used to provide DSRPT functionality. The permissions available to DSRPT vary by operating system and device.
Information you provide to us
If you contact DSRPT for support, participate in beta testing, complete a feedback survey, or otherwise communicate with us, you may voluntarily provide information such as your name, email address, phone or smartwatch model, feedback, support requests, or other information included in your message.
We use this information to respond to you, troubleshoot issues, improve DSRPT, and understand how the product performs across supported devices.
How we use information
Information processed through DSRPT may be used to:
- Provide alarms and DSRPT's step-challenge functionality
- Determine when a step challenge has been completed
- Deliver notifications, reminders, vibration, or other alarm functionality
- Save your preferences and settings
- Maintain communication between supported phones and smartwatches
- Diagnose bugs and technical issues
- Maintain compatibility across devices and operating systems
- Respond to support requests
- Improve DSRPT
Sale of personal information
Wapiti Analysis and Consulting Inc. does not sell your personal information.
Advertising
DSRPT does not currently use personal information for targeted advertising. If our advertising practices materially change, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
Third-party platforms and services
DSRPT operates on or interacts with third-party platforms and services, which may include Google Android, Google Play, Garmin, Garmin Connect IQ, and, in future versions, Apple services.
Those companies may independently collect or process information according to their own privacy policies when you use their devices, operating systems, application stores, or services. Their data practices are governed by their respective privacy policies and are separate from Wapiti Analysis and Consulting Inc.'s practices.
Payments and subscriptions
Future versions of DSRPT may offer paid features or subscriptions.
Payments may be processed by an application-store provider such as Google Play or Apple's App Store. Where payments are processed by an application-store provider, Wapiti Analysis and Consulting Inc. does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card information.
If paid functionality is introduced, this Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect any additional information required to manage purchases or subscriptions.
Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing support, maintaining the service, meeting legal obligations, and resolving disputes.
Information stored locally by DSRPT on your device may remain there until it is deleted by the application, you clear the application's data, or you uninstall the application, depending on the operating system and application functionality.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information under our control. However, no electronic system, device, or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's privacy
DSRPT is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through DSRPT. If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child in circumstances where consent or another lawful basis was required and was not obtained, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access to or correction of personal information held by us.
You may also control certain permissions through your phone or smartwatch settings.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
DSRPT is under active development, and its features may change.
We may update this Privacy Policy as DSRPT evolves, including when new functionality, platforms, analytics, payment systems, or other services are introduced.
When we make changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this policy.
